Friday we visited the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. We were disappointed to find that their current light-show sculpture exhibition supplanted the bird feeders next to their visitor center. Its a shame when environmental artworks take precedence over local fauna and flora. Apparently the local turkeys gave critical reactions by damaging the maze of electrical appliances scattered in the gardens. In any case, the day was chilly and we saw few birds. Turkey art critics were the most exotic species we encountered.
