This Great Blue Heron has been stranded in my blog queue since 21 January 2022, when I took this image of a heron stalking amongst the reflections of overhead tree branches—and I was trying to cut back on heron photos. This bird hunted at the Billy Frank Jr National Wildlife Refuge.
